55 to 60 days — 'Buttercrunch' is a bibb-type lettuce that is long standing (slow to bolt), heat tolerant, and dark green with reddish tints. Its large heads are rosette shaped with thick leaves. Bred and introduced by Cornell University in 1963,^[1] 'Buttercrunch' was an "All-America Selection^®" winner that same year. Each packet contains one gram, which is approximately 500 to 600 seeds.
