70 to 90 days — The heads of 'Great Lakes 118' can grow quite large with slightly crumpled, thick, broad, glossy wrapper leaves. It is widely adapted to most regions of North America and is very hardy and resistant to scald and tip burn. Bred by Associated Seed Growers, Inc., New Haven, Connecticut, 'Great Lakes 118' was introduced in 1948. Each packet contains one gram, which is approximately 500 to 600 seeds.
