Knuckle Purplehull Southern Pea

65 days — 'Knuckle Purplehull' is a high yielding variety producing medium thick, reddish to purple colored pods, with large seeds that turn brown when dry. Excellent pea as both a dried and a canning variety. Bred by the Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station, Auburn and released in 1958. Each ounce is approximately 150 seeds.
