Laxton's Progress No. 9 Pea

60 days — The plants of  'Laxton's Progress No. 9', also marketed under the synonyms 'Laxton Progress #9' and 'Progress No. 9', grow eighteen to twenty-four inches tall and produce pods containing six to nine tasty, sweet, large, peas each. It has been a very popular home garden pea for decades and although it does well in most locations, it was originally introduced to excel in the Southwestern United States.^[1] The seeds are wrinkled.

'Laxton's Progress No. 9' is an improved variety of 'Laxton's Progress' and has slightly larger pods and is resistant to Fusarium Wilt.^[2] Each ounce is approximately 100 seeds, which is generally enough to plant at least a ten foot row.
