Developed for commercial freezing use, they are a great choice for home gardeners for the same purpose, as well as for fresh eating and stir fry recipes. The seeds are a semi-wrinkled type.^[1]

Stabilized from a complex cross over a long period of time, 'Oregon Sugar Pod II' is another of the variety introductions from Dr. James R. Baggett's program at Oregon State University. Originally released in 1985, 'Oregon Sugar Pod II' exhibits resistance to pea enation mosaic virus, powdery mildew, and fusarium wilt race 1.^[1] Each ounce is approximately 125 seeds, which is generally enough to plant at least a ten foot row.
