Shin Kuroda Carrot

75 days — The bright orange roots of 'Shin Kuroda' are five to six inches long, stump-rooted in shape, are tender, and sweet flavored. A popular Asian market variety, they are good for home gardens and excellent as juicer. Does well in wide variety of soils. Very good storage carrot.

Shin simply means "New" in Japanese. Kuroda carrots are a category of improved Chantenay-type carrots developed in Japan originally for the Asian market. Because of their attributes, they are becoming popular in the North American market as well. Each packet contains one gram, which is approximately 590 seeds.
